From the Sutlej Valley, we follow the old Hindustan Tibet highway through the old Buddhist kingdoms of Kinnaur, Lahul and Spiti; then on to Leh, capital of Ladakh and a piece of old Tibet. And finally we bike the old trade route into china, the highest road in the world, the 5600m Kardung la to the Oases of the Nubra valley in the shadow of the Karakoram.
