Trip Description

The Annapurna Circuit Trek is one of the world’s best trek offering varieties than any other equivalent trek, in term of length, in the world. The entire circuit is 131 kilometers (81 miles) and four of the world’s 10 highest summits, which loomed around us here. The route takes us from sub-tropical zone up to the very edge of the arid Tibetan plateau through snow-capped peaks, picturesque farming village, many waterfalls, mist-shrouded valleys, isolated communities and remote monasteries combining the Marsyangdi Valley and the sacred Kali Gandaki Valley.

After exploring picturesque Manang Village, Monasteries and enjoying the tranquility of Mother Nature during acclimatization day, we then trek towards the Throng la Pass. The climax of Annapurna Circuit Trek is crossing the formidable Thorong La Pass (5416m). It is at the very edge of the Tibetan plateau and affords unsurpassed panoramic views of Annapurna peaks. We visit Muktinath Temple, a holy shrine for Hindu as well as Buddhist. Pilgrims from distant villages in Nepal and India come here every year. There are 108 water shoots from springs and a natural gas flame burns on top of water in one of the temples. Hindus believe that Muktinath is the only place on earth where the five elements (earth, wind, fire, water, and sky) exist in their distinct forms. Hundreds of worshipers bathe in the fountains, ring bells, anoint each other’s foreheads, or simply look on reverently. We can also follow their belief if you want to try.

We will then trek towards remote Lupra village and pass the Dhaulagiri Ice flow fall and the world's deepest gorge. The Kali Gandaki River has made deepest gorge between Dhaulagiri and Annapurna peaks. After spending night at Tatopani and dipping in hot springs, we trek uphill through picturesque village to Ghorepani to spend a night to watch magnificent sunrise from Poon Hill. We will spend the final night at Ghandruk, the most picturesque Gurung Village located on the lap of Annapurna range before descending back to Pokhara.

We had a a really great time on our trek, excellent views and comfortable accomodation all round. Our guide, Hari, was very knolwedgeable and friendly. As it was our first ten day trek, we were a little cautious of the Winter weather and the high altitude, but with a bit of luck (no snow!) and an attentive guide, we felt very at ease. I decided to take a poter later down the road and Hari also helped organised a reliable and friendly gentleman to join us. The Trekking Team Group also help organise donations to a local Secondary School in need of stationary and school supplies, through a great charity called 'Pack for a Purpose'. It's worth checking out if you have some space in your backpack before leaving Kathmandu, all very organised and an easy way to support the community. Thank you for an enjoyeable experience!

Nov 26 2015

we have just completed a 14 day trek of the Annapurna Circuit with the Trekking Team Group. We all had an amazing trip, the company was very professional and reliable, they provided great porters and guide who made the trip unforgettable. The company also arranged really comfortable accommodation along the way and the tour guide and the porters took us to the best local restaurants during the journey. We learned a lot along the 14 days and saw some amazingand incredible places.
We had the chance to connect with our new Nepalese friends and we learnt heaps about these amazing people and their culture.
These amazing, friendly and beautiful people are always welcoming you with the biggest smile on their faces and they are always ready to provide you the best service, making you feel part of their family.
Massive thanks to the trekking team group, specially to our guide Goku, our super strong and loving porters Tika and Kamal - they made our holiday unforgettable.
We definitely recommend their service and we can not wait to start planning a new trip around Nepal with the trekking team group in the near future.
Regarding second thoughts about coming to Nepal, dont even think twice. Nepal is magic and its amazing and loving people are ready to receive you.

Right from the beginning to the end we have been treated like family by this company. Everyone we have dealt with has greeted us with a smile, and provided us with a genuine and 'above expectation' service. We were originally unsure whether we needed a guide and porters, but I'm so happy we decided to do this as it made the experience that much more enjoyable. We gained local knowledge we would have not read about or heard ourselves, went off the main paths at times, and thoroughly enjoyed our time with guide Goku and porters Tika and Kamal. It's such a great time to visit Nepal as there are far less tourists since the earthquake, however it still has all the infrustructure and services for tourism. I also urge you to use a guide/porter service to provide support to the people and contribute to the economy, not to mention all the knowledge and fun that comes with it. We will return to Nepal and will contact trekking team group again, first of all to say hello to our new friends, as well as use their services. Thanks again for everything!

I recently completed a 2 week trek to the Annapurna region accompanied by my wife and another couple whom we are best friends with. When we decide to do the trip my wife had a recommendation to go with this company and even though i don't know you im giving you that same tip, no need to thank me.
Shreehari is the tour operator and i found him an especially good person to not only personally but professionally as well. Once we were on the trip our guide Goku was what i was looking for, a great sense of humor and an experienced professional. I have thanked them personally but i would like to make it public my gratitude for our porters Tika and Kamal whom not only did a great job but who were a pleasure to be around.
I wouldn't say that its a must to use a trekking company but if you do ill say it again im recommending this one.

Actually I never thought that my Annapurna trekking will be so much incredible and close to nature that it will remain fresh in my memory for a long time come. Since the time I correspond with Shree from TTG, he answered me so promptly. Upon arrival in Nepal he has constantly assisted and helped me to make my trip an experience of my life time.

When I was at the base camp I found the amazing mountains right in front of my eyes which was unbelievable! I recommend everyone to go to Annapurna with TTG and experience what I did.

Additional Information

This is ADVENTURE travel, and many of the trip destinations in this site are remote areas, within under developed countries, where events are less predictable than is usually the case in. The unexpected is the norm in these areas and, despite painstaking planning and organization, our adventure trips can never be taken for granted like regular trips. Many of the places that we visit do not have the same quality of emergency health and safety services that you are used to in the developed world. Internal flights can be canceled, road transport is generally uncomfortable and unreliable, and hotels often do not approach the standards of the West.

IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED FOR THIS, YOU SHOULD NOT TRAVEL WITH US. This unpredictability also means that the itineraries that we put forward for each of our trips should be seen as statements of intent, rather than as contractual obligations. A variety of factors, including weather, transport difficulties and political instability, might dictate that we change any itinerary. The trip leader will make any changes that are necessary, after consultation with the group. Only rarely will such changes be significant, and we will always do everything within our powers to minimize the effects of the enforced changes. We cannot be held responsible for the results of changes or delays, irrespective of how they are caused.
