I have had a wonderful experience with Trekking Team Group.The care and attention given to everyone was ‘over the top’, and the pricing was extremely reasonable. Additionally I participated in a 10 person 22 day camping supported trek to Nar, Phu and Tilicho Lake areas. The scenery was stunning, the leadership and support was way beyond expectations, the value was tremendous, and the overall experience was completely off the scale! The area we trekked in had such a variety of landscapes, cultures and natural beauty that each day was exciting and new. Hats off to Goku, Arjun, and all the other TTG staff. Experience could not have been better.

We booked Hike the Shivapuri to see 8000’ers  with Trekking Team Group before our Everest  Base Camp trek thinking that it will be great day to acclimatize. The day started with drive to Hindu temple with large reclining goddess in a pond, after exploring this beautiful temple ascended through mostly unspoilt rainforest to Buddhist monastery at the peak, with monks praying and chanting few of us decided to stay there to rest and those who are fit went to the Shivapuri peak.
Our guide was definitely an expert knowing the path very well and lots of information to share about Nepal. He was a person with sense of humor and we had lots of fun with him. If you have just the day off  and want to be in a nature, this is the trek for you! Thank shree recommending us this great hike!
PS: We did this trek in May, it was very sunny, remember to get some sunscreen.

The hike up Shivapuri was long and hard, with thousands of steps all the way up. The views at the top were impressive, at least on that day, with a panorama from the distant Annapurna Range and the impressive Manaslu to the white peaks of Ganesh Himal and the Langtang range. From one point some way up there was also a good view of the Everest region, with Makalu but not Everst visible. I found that the summit views were disappointing, but there is a better viewpoint a few hundred meters before. They must build a viewing tower! Overall, I am happy to have done the day hike.

We did a one day hike in the kathmandu valley as we didnt have time for a long trek in the himalayas.The service was great in particular our guide Birman who was fantastic. As it turned out the weather prevented us from having a good view at the top (Shivapuri peak) but of course that is not the trekking teams fault and they provided an excellent service throughout at a keen price.

TTG was recommended us by one of our friend who made a trip with them 2010. We started dealing with Shree by email a year prior. He was very prompt to answer and very flexible to make your trip as interesting as possible. They make sure that everything is taken care of no matter how short or long the trip, and ensure that tourists really get to know the real Nepal and see how much beauty it has to offer.
Our guide, Goku will forever remain a close friend that I stay in contact with, he became the newest member of our little group. He and the other guides made sure we were as comfortable as possible and enjoying everything around us.
Seeing Nepal the way we did will be one of the highlights for the rest of my life, it was the most grandest of adventures and I would not change a single moment of it!

We did two days rafting trip on Trisuli with a night spent camping on the river bank. It was AMAZING!  We booked the trip through Trekking Team Group and  Bir gave us great deal! The river was not too challenging, but definitely exciting (we’re not experienced rafters) and the guides can make it as difficult as they like. They are incredibly skilled and really professional. Before you leave you get some basic rafting training and then the fun begins! All the guides are really trying their hardest to make the trip fun for everyone, so there’s lots of joking and laughing going on.  Lunch, dinner, breakfast and snacks are all made very hygiene  and eaten along the riverside, cooked from scratch, delicious and suitable for vegetarians (pancakes, popcorn, porridge, chips, eggs, rice, veggies, etc.) The camp was Million star hotel, is really basic but really fun to sleep in and of course there’s a campfire in the evening.  We felt very well taken care of, thanks to Bir for great trip!

Trekking Team Group is highly recommended for a Best of Nepal Adventure. All activities and time spent in various locations was well planned so it didn’t feel like you had to pack everything up every night and move to a new location; there was time to relax, settle, and explore on your own.
The guides were very well spoken, considerate of well being and I don’t think the trips would be possible without the excellent drivers shuttling the group to each location safely.
This was truly a wonderful experience with gentle white water rafting, flights to view Mount Everest, Safari in Chitwan national park and soft 3 days hiking to Annapurna. The trip can be done by all age’s group.
Trekking Team Group was a wonderful way to experience Nepal offering a variety of experiences to every skill set of adventurer! Thank you TTG for a great trip, we will come back again!

This is my fourth visit to Nepal , all using TTG, but the first to the Annapurna region. TTG organized a personalized trek for me that included the complete Annapurna circuit, a side trip to Tilicho Lake, a ten day excursion to Upper Mustang and Lomanthang for the Tiji Festival, and a trek to Annapurna Base camp.The trip was perfect as was the support and organization by TTG. My guide, Goku, was encouraging, always happy and ready to help me accomplish my goals. If you want to get the most out of your stay in Nepal, TTG is the right company for you. They cover all of the logistics so you have no worries and can concentrate on the magnificence of the mountains, the culture, and local people you encounter. TTG provides the complete package. I cannot emphasize enough how having a guide enhances the experience you will have. They have knowledge of the terrain, the view points, the various cultures and religions, the trees, birds, animals as well as keep you safe. Every detail of my trip was managed superbly by TTG. I have no hesitations in recommending TTG for a five star experience.

Meine bisherigen Treks mit diesem Unternehmen: 10/99 Annapurna Basecamp und Chitwan NP – 10/01 Helambu Langtang und Chitwan NP – 03/04 Kalar Patar und Everest Basecamp – 11/06 Kali Gandaki Schlucht und Muktinath – 02-03/10 kurze Treks in der Umgebung von Kathmandu; Nargakot, Pewa See und von Jomosom bis Muktinath.
Mit meinen Gruppen von 4-12 Trekker/innen lernten wir nicht nur Land und Leute, sondern mit Hari Thapaliya auch sein Unternehmen “Trekking Team Group” kennen. Alle Treks wurden von diesem Team umsichtig und für uns erlebnisreich durchgeführt. Insbesondere mit den beiden bestens ausgebildeten und Deutsch sprechenden Führern Arjun und Goku konnten die Trekstrecken und Aufenthalte unseren Wünschen problemlos angepaßt werden. Besonders zu erwähnen ist die Umsicht der Führer in kritischen Situationen (aufgebrochene Magengeschwüre). Ihre fachkundigen Erläuterungen zur Tier- und Pflanzenwelt haben uns sehr erfreut. Durch Lodges- statt Zelttreks haben uns unsere Führer den Kontakt zu den Bewohnern ermöglicht. Wir konnten gemeinsam singen, tanzen und spielen. Zu Hari, Arjun und Goku hat sich in den vielen Jahren ein fast familieres Verhältnis entwickelt. Die Führer und Träger sind, bezogen auf Kleidung und Schuhwerk, gut ausgerüstet. Besonders zu erwähnen ist ihr Einsatz auf sozialem Gebiet! Ich habe in einer Privatinitiative, zunächst allein und später mit einem Partner, Hilfsprojekte durchgeführt. Ohne die aktive Hilfe unserer Freunde hätten die Projekte nicht realisiert werden können. In den vergangenen Jahren habe ich viele Kontakte von Interessenten zu diesem Team hergestellt. Und habe mich über ihre positiven Berichte gefreut. Die “Trekking Team Group” ist mit ihrem Inhaber Hari Thapaliya ein kompetenter und sehr zu empfehlender Partner für alle Treks und Besichtigungen in Nepal. I’ve recently returned from Nepal having done the 2 day trip down the Trishuli River with Trekking Team Group. It was a perfect organized tour! We have spent two great days on the river with a lot of funny people from everywhere in the world. The river offers best white water adventure on great rapids within an amazing scenery. If you are also looking chilling time camping on beautifully sandy beaches and yummy food prepared for you at meal times this might be the best choice for you.

We recently heard from someone about how fun the rafting trip in Nepal as we had never rafted before. We decided to plan a trip as we hadn’t spent much time in the area. My husband is a kayaker, he grew up river running, and he was even a boat guide in few countries. We debated whether to run the river ourselves or use a commercial company for our first trip. Since we only own an inflatable kayak and we’d have our six year old, we decided to go with a commercial trip this first time. We decided on Trekking Team Group. Our boat guide was experienced, easy to follow, and he entertained us on the trip. My husband was really impressed with the quality of the outfit. We were also surprised how much fun we had. Our family had a great time on our rafting day trip with Trekking Team Group. The entire trip consisted of serene moments, followed by shots of Class 2 & 3 rapids. The ride from Kathmandu to the river was scenic. The crew is very knowledgeable and charismatic. Follow their directions and lead, you will have a great and safe time. Take the time in between the rapids to look around at the scenery, it’s beautiful! Our Guide Maila, was knowledgeable, very outgoing and such a nice guy. He knows the terrain and knew exactly the kind of thrill we were looking for and made it happen. A Big Thank You goes out to him for helping to make our family vacation, one to remember forever. We definitely recommend TTG for Rafting and Kayaking adventure.

I was with a group of mature retired aged women who put our lives in the hands of this group and who came home knowing we had just experienced the tour of a lifetime. I couldn’t speak high enough about the Nepali people we came in contact with, they know how to make sure you are comfortable and go out of their way to make you feel welcome, special and most of all safe in their care. Most importantly they plan the tour to your interests and abilities, if something was too difficult on the day, no worries we’d take a different route.
The earthquake will not have changed this experience, the people are so resilient and they welcome you with the local greeting, Namaste, at every corner. Me and my wife we must say, that the services of Trekking Team Group absolutely stunned us. We came to Nepal for free independent trekking but still needed some help, and the Trekking Team Group was recommended to us by our friends. They have booked flight tickets for us, prepared perfect rafting trip on the way to Pokhara and whenever we needed it, they were on the phone to helps us. All of it for a very reasonable price. For us, 100 % recommendation.

We were planning long time a head to trek to Langtang region. This was best trip we ever been to. The snow fall on the way, frozen lakes and beautiful view of mountains at sunrise was best of all. All our guides and porters were experience and friendly who could tell you lot about the country. We had lots of fun and learned many things each others.Thank you guys for a great trip!

I recently did it in mid April, could see the mighty and legendary full snow covered Himalayas. I had taken flight with Simrik Air which generally guarantees a window seat to all its passengers, I did get one. Towards the end of the one hour flight they gave me a certificate of honor for the trip. The view is majestic and is absolutely luring. The air hostess even permits the passengers to take pictures from the cockpit, the pilots also co-operate.  Highly recommended

There are couples of airlines operating mountain flights. Flight time is about 50 minutes. Each passenger is guaranteed of a window seat. After about twenty minutes in to the flight each passenger is invited to the Pilot’s cabin to view the Mountain range from the cockpit.It was a once in a life time experience. I did not climb Mt Everest but it touched my heart. I am glad I did this. Thank you Trekking Team Group for suggesting me to take this flight, I would have missed it otherwise…

Recently I visited Nepal and had great holiday with Trekking Team Group. The company is run by Shree and his brother who are proud of his homeland and are so welcoming to foreign visitors. My first “encounter” occurred shortly after my arrival in Kathmandu when I was looking for a operator to organize Everest Experience flight. I was keen to book a flight to see the mountains as soon as possible as I have heard many good things about this flight. Shree immediately organized this flight for me on the day when I wished to go, picked me up from my hotel at 6.00am on the morning of the flight and was there at the airport to meet me afterwards. The flight with Yeti Airlines was a magical experience. Everyone has a window seat. We took off a little after the scheduled departure time once the early fog had cleared and, within minutes, were soaring past the towering snow clad caps of the Langtan Range. We flew for 45 minutes parallel to the ranges and the stewardess pointed put the various peaks as they came into view. Set against the dazzling blue of the early morning, the rugged, mountainous terrain evoked sighs of awe from all on the plane, especially when we each had our turn to view the scene from the cockpit. Not once did I feel anxiety about our proximity to the seemingly endless stretch of mighty mountains alongside which we just seemed to float, as the views were just so impressive. Everest appeared, a great exultant pyramid jutting into the sky, caressed softly on its mighty peak by a faint wisp of sunlit cloud. The mood on the plane was one of awestruck happiness. If you are seated on the left side of the plane you are closer to the mountains on the outward flight but if you sit on the right, you have the view up even closer on the return journey. It was good to be met afterwards by Shree who seemed genuinely happy for me when I returned, so delighted after the exhilirating flight.
I hope to return to Nepal in the not too distant future and to undertake more encounters with the landscape and people of this stunning country. In future, I will organise all my adventures with TTG Company. He brings an open, sincere and caring soul to the organisation of travel for his clients which just add a joyous layer of gentle Nepali humanity to the experience, making it all the richer.

Happened to make a short 5 day trip to Nepal and while taking with Shree at Trekking Team office, we changed our mind to do some adventure sports. So we choose Bungee jump and swing & we could not have been happier.
Extremely professional and hospitable people they carefully explain all activities and after that it is upto you to sign up for as many. It is complete value for money as a day trip to this place, which is a 3 hour drive from kathmandu includes a pickup and drop from kathmandu to the resort and lunch. Staying there is an even better option as they have well kept tents, covered with a roof to protect it from the elements. And all of it is complete value for money.
We did the bungee jump and the canyon swing, which is done on the suspension bridge across the gorge. Run by professionals, they carefully explain the entire process and the staff is extremely polite and helpful and do a thorough job of ensuring you get the best experience. They claim it is the 3rd highest bungee jump in the world, though I cannot verify that. Overall my first bungee jump experience was beyond words and I could not have asked for a better setting.

Traveling in the langtang national park is an unusual experience because of the beautiful landscape for starters. After 6-7 hrs private Jeep rides to starting point. Be prepared to get yourself a great morning view of the surrounding mountains, it’s just beautiful experience.During this trek, our guide and porter took care of us and provided every things we needed. Food was great but be prepared no to eat any meat during this trek as there`s no meat supplies in the mountains.
All in all its a great trek to the frozen lakes for langtang, the view is absolutely spectacular, and the air is clean and fresh… something an urban guy like me appreciate very much.
