The reviews from these individuals of Trekking Team Group are just a glimpse of the countless satisfied customers we’ve served over our 30 years of organizing trips in the Himalayas, spanning Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan.

Manaslu Circuit Trek
My husband and I went on the Manaslu Circuit trek with Trekking Team Group for our honeymoon. Hari took care of the both of us from start to finish, and I highly recommend Hari to anyone looking for a guide who can provide a safe, fun, and educational trek. You’ll leave feeling like Hari is a part of your family! Any trips we’ll have back to Nepal will be with Hari. Hari always made sure we were safe – from checking on the kitchens and food prep, to making sure we had the best accommodations. Hari also made sure that this was our trek the entire way. Hari would always give us accurate information about our day, routes, and potential changes we could make to our itinerary. He’d let us push harder on days we felt strong, but more importantly, he knew when to be more conservative with our efforts. Hari also quickly helped us re-arrange our itinerary when we ended up finishing the trek a day early. He made it all seamless and personally escorted us back to the airport. Hari also provided us with educational information that no other guide on the same trek provided. Hari would discuss the flora, fauna, various regions, castes, Nepal’s history and culture. Hari treated us like family. Many other guides on the same trek would split off with their clients/trekkers from their porters. But Hari made sure that we all were in this together, including our fantastic porter, Prakash. Thank you so much for a wonderful trek!

Manaslu Circuit Trek
We had an amazing experience in one of the most beautiful trails in the world, with a super guide Ajaya and his co assistant Bhanu. The whole arrangement of our trip (17 days)worked like a Swiss watch, everything were on time and despite the fact we weren’t able to pass the Larke pass because of the avalanches, the guide led us back to Arughat with a great confidence and even made our way back more interesting by entering a beautiful authentic monastery, and after all we were on time to our flight. Shree is a very caring person and made our trip to Nepal unforgettable he dealt with all the logistics so we had everything, even at the last day he provided our transportation to the airport! And I am not even starting to talk about the wonderful dinner he arranged at the last day! Thank you TTG, Shree, Ajaya and Bhanu for a wonderful holiday!
Thanks for everything and hopefully we will be back for MORE!

Kailash Mansarovar via Lhasa
We made a Kora around saint mountain Kailash in Aug-2014. Thanks to Trekking Team Group (TTG) for realizing our dream. All arrangements were made by TTG in due time. Even though Officials issued the permits stingily, we got them. Another obstacle on our way became the huge landslide on Bhote Kosi river, which smashed the road to Kodari and Chinese border. TTG to broke a deadlock by renting the helicopter. Our Nepalese guide Arjun is outstanding man, who handled smoothly all obstacles en-route and mediate between us and Tibetan Guides. As a result our voyage left very pleasant aftertaste.Owner Managers Shreehari and Hari Krishna are very kind, hands-on, professional and reliable.

Everest Base Camp Trek
Trek to Everest Base Camp is hardest thing I’ve ever done but the most rewarding. We did Everest Base Camp trek with Trekking Team Group. We had a fantastic time and would recommend TTG to anyone who wants to do this. Prior to the trip we were impressed with the information and advice we were given by email. When we arrived at Kathmandu we were met by our guide, Goku, who throughout our time in Nepal was extremely helpful and ensured that we enjoyed the trip and looked after all our needs. The trek itself was an amazing experience, and although we both suffered to some extent from the effects of altitude, we made it to the Base Camp. We would like to especially thank Goku and our Porter Tokpe for providing such a great experience, and would recommend TTG to anyone. Our trek was in early January and the weather was generally sunny with a few overcast days and one overnight snowfall. The temperature was pleasant for walking in the daytime, but it was extremely cold when the sun went down. The food was included in the price of the trip which made it very easy and great value for money.

Everest Base Camp Trek
We spent 12 days doing a trek to Everest base camp and Kala Patar. Trekking team organised our flights and TIMS, but most importantly a fantastic guide.
Bishal was very professional and made sure we were safe with appropriate acclimatisation days. He was a great person to spend 12 days with including Christmas day, happy to join in with singing, dancing and playing cards.
We opted to organise the accommodation and food as we went along which was great. Bishal would advise us on places to stay but give us freedom to choose to stay with people we met on the trek. Everything was totally flexible.
The company were very helpful when our flight from Lukla was cancelled and arranged for us at very short notice to change flights to get back to Kathmandu. We rang them at 8pm at night and we had a flight was rearranged for first thing the next morning.
Incredible service.

Everest Base Camp Trek
Trekking Team Group provides outstanding service for very reasonable prices. I have used them for Everest base camp trek into the Khumbu region and have never had a complaint. Shreehari and his group really know how to take care of clients. They can plan a trip for you or, as I did, make all the arrangements for the itinerary you lay out. The guides are special – knowledgeable, caring, and a pleasure to be around – and they arrange for very nice, capable porters. The most important aspect of using TTG is their response when things don’t go as planned. Everything gets rescheduled as necessary and, if needed, assistance provided and care arranged. Every one in TTG is a nice person who really cares about the client. You can trust them to do everything possible to make your journey a memorable one and to take care of you if things don’t go as planned. I highly recommend them.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek
We went trekking to ABC at the end of April with our guide Norbu, The trek was arranged by the Trekking Team Group. He met us in Hotel and flew with us to Pokhara and we started our trek from there. This trek was absolutely amazing but strenuous. Not so much for the altitude but for constant up and down. Beautiful scenery through forests and villages while getting closer to ABC, Stunning view.I can highly recommend our guide and TTG.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek
After researching several trekking tour companies we opted for Trekking Team Group and we were very happy with the service we received. The initial email correspondence was terrific; quick responses and informative advice. From airport to hotel to mountain to airport, we received guidance throughout our entire sixteen days in Nepal. We began with an excellent day trip around Kathmandu in a comfortable van and a fantastic guide named Goku. We felt very reassured after having a pre-trek meeting with Shree, the managing director, who went over the itinerary with us and answered our questions. The trek itself was incredible. We went with the 6-day trek through Annapurna Base Camp. Despite our beginner-to-intermediate trekking ability, we were well taken care of and didn’t feel pressured to walk at a pace we were uncomfortable with. Our guide made for fantastic company. He was very knowledgeable about the mountains and very helpful throughout the trek with everything from guidance through tricky terrain to recommending food. Similarly our porter was fantastic; very polite and made for good company. Overall we had an amazing experience with Trekking Team Group and would recommend it to anyone considering a trek.

Best of Nepal Tour
“Twenty years of outdoors work from the Himalaya to the oceans of the World have taught me the value of really efficient and reliable logistics. Trekking Team Group belongs right at the top of my list of companies I can work with – as a matter of fact, Trekking Team Group was my Nepalese homebase for many years and I hope I even somehow contributed to the quality of service they provide.
In short : great people in a great country!”

Everest Base Camp Trek
After such an incredible previous experience trekking with my wife and Trekking Team Group, it was an easy decision to engage the professional team once again for a 19-day High Passes of Everest trek for a mate and I. As we had booked our trek post the heartbreaking earthquakes we were somewhat concerned about the extent of the devastation, us being a burden on the Nepalese and of course our own safety. Thankfully our concerns were allayed. Yes, there was significant damage to many buildings on our trekking route but these are being repaired – the sound of hammers clinking continues from sunrise to sundown. The Nepalese people are getting on with their daily lives – the mountain people are very resilient. And, importantly, the Nepalese people are extremely happy to have tourists returning to the trails – many rely on the tourism industry to make a living.
In terms of safety, we couldn’t have been in safer hands with our knowledgeable guide Arjun, attentive porter Yokumar and the Trekking Team Group support crew back in Kathmandu. Given the impact of the earthquakes on the region and the reduced level of traffic on our selected route the team spent time each day chatting to the locals about the paths ahead and the possibility of accommodation – so we knew roughly what to expect and ensured our safe journey. For those aspects of the route the team considered unsafe we altered our trek and took an alternative route. The team truly regards safety as their paramount principle.
My mate and I had an amazing trek spending time with the beautiful Nepalese people, absorbing the breathtaking mountainous scenery, walking the tranquil forests and valleys and of course breaking ourselves over and over again as we made our way up the mountains… but it is so worth it. If you are hesitant in travelling to Nepal post the earthquakes please for your own sanity and for the good of the Nepalese people please do make the journey. Like us you will not regret it. I also would highly recommend you engage Trekking Team Group to plan and guide your trek – they are knowledgeable, trustworthy and will ensure a safe, once in a lifetime experience.
