We had a a really great time on our trek, excellent views and comfortable accomodation all round. Our guide, Hari, was very knolwedgeable and friendly. As it was our first ten day trek, we were a little cautious of the Winter weather and the high altitude, but with a bit of luck (no snow!) and an attentive guide, we felt very at ease. I decided to take a poter later down the road and Hari also helped organised a reliable and friendly gentleman to join us. The Trekking Team Group also help organise donations to a local Secondary School in need of stationary and school supplies, through a great charity called ‘Pack for a Purpose’. It’s worth checking out if you have some space in your backpack before leaving Kathmandu, all very organised and an easy way to support the community. Thank you for an enjoyeable experience!

I recently completed a 2 week trek to the Annapurna region accompanied by my wife and another couple whom we are best friends with. When we decide to do the trip my wife had a recommendation to go with this company and even though i don’t know you im giving you that same tip, no need to thank me.Shreehari is the tour operator and i found him an especially good person to not only personally but professionally as well. Once we were on the trip our guide Goku was what i was looking for, a great sense of humor and an experienced professional. I have thanked them personally but i would like to make it public my gratitude for our porters Tika and Kamal whom not only did a great job but who were a pleasure to be around.I wouldn’t say that its a must to use a trekking company but if you do ill say it again im recommending this one.

Of all the trekking companies to choose from in Kathmandu I chose Trekking Team Group ( I had researched 35!!). Why? Because they not only were they very friendly and professional they are an environmenally responsible firm who also help local communities through a number of community projects. Trekking Team Group provide gourds and steri pens to avoid the use of plastic bottles throughout the trek, which helps the local environment as there are many tourists. From the beginning Trekking Team Group were very friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble . Our guides and porters were always there for us and took great care of us along the trek . We consider Trekking Team Group to be more than just a trekking company they are our friends. They offer a forst class service and genuinely care about you. We – a family of four with children did the Mustang trek, followed by clockwise romp through the Annapurna circuit (Muktinath to Besi Sahar). The route was put together after endless email exchanges with Shree who was very patient and informative and eventually delivered an extremely well matched and tailored package. This also included Chitwan trip and guided tour in Pokhara, Kathmandu and Bakhtapur. We randomly picked Trekking Team Group and few other service providers from the list on thegreathimalayatrail . Their offer was by far the lowest we received and since the dialogue with them was very helpful and as they received good reviews on Tripadvisor, selecting them was a no brainer. From the moment of our landing till our return to the airport we were looked after in the most personal way by Shree and his staff. On the trek we really enjoyed the company and guidance of our guide Arjun and the two porters Ram and Tasi. The trip was an incredible success. We were tended by a very professional and experienced staff on the trek – patient, adaptable, caring, resourceful, and with which a connection was created on all age levels. Food and lodging met and at times surpassed our expectations. As life will have it, not everything went according to plan, but each event was openly and thoughtfuly countered with the best available means. Trekking Team Group provides outstanding service for very reasonable prices. I have used them for treks into the Khumbu region and have never had a complaint. Shreehari and his group really know how to take care of clients. They can plan a trip for you or, as I did, make all the arrangements for the itinerary you lay out. The guides are special – knowledgeable, caring, and a pleasure to be around – and they arrange for very nice, capable porters. The most important aspect of using TTG is their response when things don’t go as planned. Everything gets rescheduled as necessary and, if needed, assistance provided and care arranged. I wanted a couple of days away rafting and paragliding in pokhara. They organised everything as I’d asked, the companies they booked with were very professional and I had an amazing time. They are an excellent company, I highly recommend them!

Me and my friends made a trekking in the most famous region in Nepal – Sherpa region Solo Khumbu. We walked from Lukla up to Kala Patar, than through Phortse up again to Gokyo. The weather couldn´t be better. Trekking Team Group enable us to realize this wonderful trip. In March we made our first visit to Nepal. We were looked after really well by Shreehari and his staff. Two of us wanted to do a winter trek to Kanchenjunga and the surrounding areas. Trekking Team Group went to great lengths to find a guide who had been to this area before, and who could understand the local dialect. It was a great winter trek, as remote as it gets in Nepal, and clear skies every day. We knew it was something special when the experienced guide and porter took just as many photos as we did! TTG was personally recommended to me by a friend and I am very glad I chose them. Arjun (our guide) and porter were excellent in every respect. Professional, safe, courteous, FUN (!), efficient and above all good company for a trek. Arjun spoke excellent English and more than catered for our every need including advice on trekking techniques and altitude sickness (which we did not suffer from at all). The staff at the agency were also very helpful and refreshingly did not try to hide any hidden extras into the costs (like many of the other agencies I encountered). As a result, we found the overall price excellent value for money and completely transparent.

We made a Kora around saint mountain Kailash in Aug-2014. Thatnks to Trekking Team Group (TTG) for realizing our dream. All arrangements were made by TTG in due time. Even though Officials issed the permits stingily, we got them. Another obstacles on our way became the huge landslide on Bhote Kosi river, which smashed the road to Kodari and Chinese border. TTG to broke a deadlock by renting the helicopter. Our Nepalese guide Arjun is outstanding man, who handled smoothly all obstacles en-route and mediate between us and Tibetan Guides. As a result our voyage left very pleasant aftertaste. Owner Managers Shreehari and HareKrishna are very kind, hands-on, professional and reliable.

We trekked the Manaslu Circuit this year and it was awesome – trekking team group were organized, fun , considerate and looked after everything for us. As a women travelling alone I decided to contract the Trekking Team Group . And I did not regret it. Thanks to Shreehari who asigned his experienced guide Arjun to me, I had a wonderful time visiting (either walking or travelling by public transport) beautiful places like Changu Narayan, Nagarkot and Bakthapur. Arjun is a very thoughtful guide who is eager to explain Nepalese daily life to you. I was struck by the gentleness of the Nepalese people, and their resillience and eagerness (young and old, women and men) to rebuild their beautiful and culturally very rich country after the earthquake. I am determined to go back one day with my family for ‘more serious hiking’ with Shree and his Trekking Team Group.
