I was many times in Nepal and I always used the service of Trekking Team Group.I can only recommend.I know from other travellers that not always is the service on the right level.If you travel to Nepal you meet every day smaller or bigger problem but the staff from Trekking Team Group always solved it really professional.

My first time in Nepal, June 2015. Got very good recommendation for this agency from a cousin of mine. We did almost three weeks long trek in Solokhumbu area including Island Peak summit. All the paperwork done by Trekking Team Group. The agency was amazingly fast and efficient. We sent them money ahead, which was good decision, since we only needed to spend a few hours in KTM (arrived Sunday evening, left Monday morning!) thanks to this. After our arrival, we were picked up at the airport, taken to the office where our permits, garbage deposits, Lukla air tickets etc. were ready for pick up. No waiting time, no problems, no worries, no excessive unnecessary expenses, very professional. After we got back they took care of our return flight reconfirmation and within a few minutes arranged us a daylong trip aroung KTM valley for price (for the car with the driver) better than we were able to negotiate with taxi drivers.Absolute satisfaction, definitely will work with this agency next time again.Nepal is safe after earthquake so no need to worry to visit this beautiful country..

Had an amazing trip with Trekking Team Group! Program was 14 days with Everest Basecamp, Kala Pattar and Island Peak on the program.The guide, Arjion haf 18 years of experience and did his job very well! Carefully planned with enough time for aclimitizing.I really recommend this company, and would use it myself again if coming to Nepal to hike/climb!

We did Mt.Everest base camp and Island Peak over 14days. Good and very experienced guides. Climbing guides had been on Mt.Everest 8 times. Very focused on safety. Base camp Island Peak impressed me with amazing food & service.Will come back soon with other group!

We, three girls from different countries met on a Nepal trek. After the trip, we had 1 full day free time so didn’t know what to do as we had already seen the sights of Kathmandu. We came across Trekking Team Group and met shree. Knowing our thoughts he instantly offered us cooking class where we can cook momo. We agreed on his suggestion and went with Bir ( one of his guide) to the market to buy all the ingredients. It was fun to buy with Nepali farmer and even learned to bargain. After this we took a taxi and went shree’s house. We cut vegetable and made ready to make Momo. The first few momo was so funny that we laughed to ourselves but shree’s wife encouraged us to make it even better and finally we made quite ok.We used same momo for our lunch and we could eat as much as we can. It was so delicious better than we had on our trek.We had lots of fun, laugh and experience which we will never forget.Thanks shree for a wonderful day! We will recommend anyone to take this course if they have day off.

Right from the beginning to the end we have been treated like family by this company. Everyone we have dealt with has greeted us with a smile, and provided us with a genuine and ‘above expectation’ service. We were originally unsure whether we needed a guide and porters, but I’m so happy we decided to do this as it made the experience that much more enjoyable. We gained local knowledge we would have not read about or heard ourselves, went off the main paths at times, and thoroughly enjoyed our time with guide Goku and porters Tika and Kamal. It’s such a great time to visit Nepal as there are far less tourists since the earthquake, however it still has all the infrustructure and services for tourism. I also urge you to use a guide/porter service to provide support to the people and contribute to the economy, not to mention all the knowledge and fun that comes with it. We will return to Nepal and will contact trekking team group again, first of all to say hello to our new friends, as well as use their services. Thanks again for everything!

we have just completed a 14 day trek of the Annapurna Circuit with the Trekking Team Group. We all had an amazing trip, the company was very professional and reliable, they provided great porters and guide who made the trip unforgettable. The company also arranged really comfortable accommodation along the way and the tour guide and the porters took us to the best local restaurants during the journey. We learned a lot along the 14 days and saw some amazingand incredible places.We had the chance to connect with our new Nepalese friends and we learnt heaps about these amazing people and their culture. These amazing, friendly and beautiful people are always welcoming you with the biggest smile on their faces and they are always ready to provide you the best service, making you feel part of their family. Massive thanks to the trekking team group, specially to our guide Goku, our super strong and loving porters Tika and Kamal – they made our holiday unforgettable. We definitely recommend their service and we can not wait to start planning a new trip around Nepal with the trekking team group in the near future. Regarding second thoughts about coming to Nepal, dont even think twice. Nepal is magic and its amazing and loving people are ready to receive you.

I cooperate on preparation of tours with Trekking Team Group for several years and I have to say that´s great partnership with wonderfull people – at the office as well as guides. But what is most important, it is reabilty, prompt respond and action when it is needed. We went together over several disasters like earthquake last year and I would not change this company for any other….

We did a one day hike in the kathmandu valley as we didnt have time for a long trek in the himalayas.The service was great in particular our guide Birman who was fantastic. As it turned out the weather prevented us from having a good view at the top (Shivapuri peak) but of course that is not the trekking teams fault and they provided an excellent service throughout at a keen price.

Shreehari and the team at Trekking Team Group have really helped me to have an amazing time. Advising on and organising buses and flights, tours and treks. Covering not only Nepal but Tibet and my onward journeys to India and Sri Lanka.The friendly and efficient service made me feel confident and relaxed during the time I spent in Nepal. Like Wow . Where to even begin this Review !??For those who want the short version , yes , it’s a definite yes ,Top Marks for this outfit .My guide Birman (Mr. Birman to my Madam J.) and I trekked together for six weeks (yes , that’s right 6 weeks !) in the Solu Khumbu region . : I have been here before and wanted to retrace my steps from my last trekking trip , so started in Jiri and going ‘bistare – bistare’ (slowly – slowly) trekked to Namche onto Everest way , then crossed to Gokyo and back to Namche before trekking out again — with many side trips . (as opposed to flying into and out of Lukla like most ppl do nowadays) .Mr. Birman was courteous , knowledgable , polite , funny , and always helpful ; he was always willing and able to accommodate my various wishes re pace of our trek (I like it at a comfortable pace , want to be in the ‘here-and-now’ , take time to look around and engage with local people , time to ‘smell the roses’ so to say ) or regarding as to where to stay / eat / stop . Has no hidden agendas of trying to stir you to places of His choosing / interests like many other guides do . Mr. Birman (he’s 26 years old this year , I am quite a bit older , but at his suggestion we established our monikers early on in our trek 🙂 ) is strong and fast : On our third day out I’ve gotten terribly dehydrated and faint , asked him to go ahead and find us accommodation and have some food and water / Fanta ready for me . He did all that , then came back to take and carry my backpack to ease my burden . Saved the day ! .Some days I prefer hiking alone , some days it is nice to have company. Mr. Bir was always accommodating , never obtrusive , we were able to establish great boundaries and rapport , clarified expectations early on , and had an absolutely seamless wilderness experience. We had great conversations on many various topics (Birman speaks near perfect English and is a quick learner !) : I learned much about Nepal and its people , about local customs and issues , and he learned from me about environmental preservation (no tossing away of garbage !!) , about ethical treatment of animals (it’s a definite concern in Nepal — saw some very disturbing ‘things’) , he learned some finer points of what is expected of professional guides and always took suggestions on-board at face value. A great positive .Taking our time we got to see many wildlife : deer , Himalayn Thar raiding a potato field , fox , many types of birds , even the very elusive National Bird of Nepal : a beautiful many-colored pheasant near MongLa .During our long excursion I unfortunately caught a respiratory bug , and having been weakened by it at Altitude , was forced to take some rest days during which Birman brought me food to my room , allowing me to rest and recover. He went on a recon mission without prompting and found the nearest health post and arranged for me to visit it on our way from Pengboche to Portshe (btw. that is an Awesome trek . Breathtaking views and scenery. Highly recommended !!) , as my own antibiotics were ineffective . This was the first trip for Mr. Bir to the Everest Region , but in every lodge we’ve gone to and stayed at , within minutes of arriving he was treated as a long seen friend , in many places the sure place to find him was the kitchen as he loves to (and is very good at) cook(ing) .At mealtimes oh the comfort of not having to worry about anything as he has already taken care of all possible needs . Within a few days of starting our trek he had come to know and anticipate my (sometimes quirky) necessities : at altitude I sleep with a Nalgene bottle of boiled water every night — great way to keep your bed / toes warm as you fall asleep , and in the morning you have water to drink that is not ice cold 😉 ! I never had to ask for it , he has always looked after it without me needing to bother. Nice xWhat I’m trying to say is , Mr. Birman is one of those exceptional guides (people) who can (and care to) anticipate your needs in order to make your trek most enjoyable. It truly is rare .I am of the kind of people who likes to go after her own head , and it was important to me that I should be able to have a guide who allows for this and so I can relax and enjoy my time , my trek , putting one foot in front of the other , take time and stop when I feel like — there’s so much beauty to see , to experience , shame to just rush by !! — , but in the sure knowledge that I have someone ‘watch over’ my safety and my comfort . Though many times out of sight , Birman was always close enough that should I need him , he’s right there . That takes special talent lol ! Had many laughs learning the special Nepali way of telling time and distance , had some great meals and moments , met some wonderful people and I can hardly wait to go back . And be assured , if I am in need of any assistance or in need of a guide on my next trip I would once again engage the services of Trekking Team Group , and hope to have Mr. Birman as my guide . Oh , and before I forget : after my trek was finished I stayed in Nepal for an additional couple of weeks during which Trekking Team Group and Mr. Birman was most helpful in suggesting destinations and arranging transportation . That’s beyond the time I engaged their paid services . Also , after Mr. Birman’s return to KTM I had continued my time in the mountains for another month , trekking some two additional weeks , and every couple of days or so he’d inquire (when there was signal) as to my whereabouts and my well being. That’s beyond the ‘call of duty’ as he was no longer engaged nor being paid as my guide . That is caring and I greatly appreciated it 🙂 .Further , as to Trekking Team Group : the trekking company provides filtered water for the whole length of a trek for solos as well as for groups in an effort to reduce the blight of the disposable plastic mineral-water bottles that get discarded and accumulate , thereby causing a severe pollution problem in this fragile ecological system . They’re a member of the ‘TAP’ organization : Trekkers Against Plastic .A laudable effort imo , cutting down on the tons of debris. More on : it is my understanding that Trekkers Team Group discourages elephant involved activities , as it has been clearly shown that this part of the tourism industry is rife with abuse and mistreatment of the animals. An elephant died of heatstroke and heart attack just when I was in Nepal , due to lack of shade , lack of water , and overwork carrying tourist all day. This should be stopped ! And if Trekking Tour Group is taking an active proactive role in stamping out this practice , all the better !All in all a most wonderful experience , highly recommend this company 🙂 .

TTG, namely the guider Arjun, managed everything with international quality and best knowledge of the local conditions. On trek I want to enjoy the nature, culture and people. I prefer to avoid arranging for accommodation, routes, meal etc. This has been managed by TTG and the guider. TTG helps just to enjoy what you plan before trek. Reliable and professional not only trek organizers, but also very friendly and helpful. Should you experience wonderful trek and safety return at home, turn to TTG.

We recently completed the Annapurna Luxury trek with Trekking Team Group and were thoroughly impressed with the experience. Our guide, Bir, went above and beyond to tailor the trip to our preferences. When weather conditions necessitated an itinerary change, he handled it smoothly, ensuring we still had an amazing time.

Bir’s insightful anecdotes about the landscapes, flora, and fauna enriched our journey and deepened our appreciation of the trek. Additionally, their commitment to eco-friendly travel was impressive; we didn’t need to purchase expensive water bottles as we could purify our water quickly with a UV device.

Overall, the 6-day trek offered a wonderful mix of jungle, forest, villages, and breathtaking landscapes, including waterfalls and rivers. Bir and Babu, our team from the company, were fantastic companions, making the experience even more enjoyable with fun activities like games in the lodges. Bir’s expertise and responsibility as a guide were evident, and it was reassuring to know that the Trekking Team Group’s management checked in regularly to ensure everything was going smoothly.

We highly recommend both the agency and Bir as a guide.

My wife and I would like to thank Trekking Team Group for organizing our porterguide Chitra Tamang and our porter Bibek Rai. Chitra is very caring, knows the area exceptionally well and made our trip from Lukla to Everest Base Camp and Kala Pattar really memorable.We hope both Chitra and Bibek will be considered by Trekking Team Group for other customers!

This was one of our best vacations. Weather was impeccable and so was the trek organization (Khumbu valley) and the care we were given. From the landing in Kathmandu to the take-off, somebody from TTG was taking care of us. No stress at all (for us :-)) !Another big benefit of being with TTG was having an experienced guide. Thanks to Arjun we could really enjoy the trek, the nature, the atmosphere of high mountains and let all organizational issues to him (be it delayed flights, overbooked lodges etc.). He managed everything with great oversight. Combined with his true love for the mountains we were on the same wave and could breathe all together the beauty of Himalayas. Overall our experience with TTG is so encouraging that we will be back again. And yes with the Team Trekking Group. Why changing the winning horse?

We had a a really great time on our trek, excellent views and comfortable accomodation all round. Our guide, Hari, was very knolwedgeable and friendly. As it was our first ten day trek, we were a little cautious of the Winter weather and the high altitude, but with a bit of luck (no snow!) and an attentive guide, we felt very at ease. I decided to take a poter later down the road and Hari also helped organised a reliable and friendly gentleman to join us. The Trekking Team Group also help organise donations to a local Secondary School in need of stationary and school supplies, through a great charity called ‘Pack for a Purpose’. It’s worth checking out if you have some space in your backpack before leaving Kathmandu, all very organised and an easy way to support the community. Thank you for an enjoyeable experience!

My friend and I went to Nepal and wanted to try trekking. It’s the first time for both of us, so we visited different places in Thamel and asked for the planning and price. The guy we talked to in Trekking Team Group seemed to really know what he was talking about and also speaks english perfectly. Furthermore his price was definitely the cheapest with everything included. So we chose this place and he was our guide for 4 days and everything went perfect!We are really happy that we chose Trekking Team Group – they know what they’re doing and gives you an unforgetable memorie!

Our guide Bir was with us trough the whole trip and was very friendly and helpful. Could not ask for more!! We were trekking at Pun Hill and it was just so amazing. Nepal is known around the world for its magnificent view of snow-capped mountains of more than 7000 or even 8000 meters high seen on multiple trekking routes, ranging from Poon Hill 4 Days to EBC 12 Days. For my first time trekking in Nepal, I chose Poon Hill and customised it into 6 days with the experienced front-desk staff at Trekking Team Group, who assigned a dedicated guide to me. Bikki the Guide is experienced, patient, and fluent in English, who provided excellent guide service including explaining route in details, selecting hotel upon my preference, and provided many helpful tips on safe and healthy trekking. It’s a 6 days of joyful exploration and unforgettable self-fulfilment. I’ve shared my wonderful experiences and photos of Poon Hill trekking with my friends in China and beyond. In Thamel district, Trekking Team Group distinguished itself clearly from its peers given the 2016 Award of Excellence it received from the trustworthy Tripadvisor, which I knew since quite long ago, so I’ve recommended Trekking Team Group to my friend Mari in Shenzhen who is coming on Jan 24 for ABC+Poon Hill trekking and two other friends in Beijing who planned to come to Nepal in mid-Fed 2017 for ABC trekking.

I contacted the Trekking Team Group about interest in using their service and got an immediate response from Shree. I had a very limited period of time that I would be in Kathmandu and was interested in capturing photo images of the people and the area. He promptly put together a 3 day private tour that gave me a wide range of experiences and provided much to photograph. Beyond just the opportunity to capture images I felt that I had my own personal adventure as well. Shree was thoughtful about my needs and would check in with me periodically to make sure this is what I was expecting and in case I had other ideas. He was very flexible throughout the 3 days and I left Kathmandu excited about my time there. His driver was excellent and I was completely satisfied with the experience. I would highly recommend them for anyone traveling solo and desiring a personalized experience (as I did) as well as groups traveling together.
