I had such an amazing trek to the Annapurna Base Camp through Poon Hill. Since I didn’t do it in the high season I avoid the crowds and I believe we got a pretty good weather for the season we were in and even if the afternoons were cloudy the views in the morning were incredible. Many thanks to my guide and friend Birman Tamang, who made this experience unforgettable and adapted to my pace and needs every time. Since we were faster than what we planned in the beginning he changed the route on the way so I could make the most of my trek. Totally recommended!!

We have been travelling with Trekking Team Group, and was a really great experience. We were 2 people to trek to Everest Base Camp, and communication before the trekking through email was very easy with quick answers to desing in flexible way what we wanted to do during our trip.Once in Nepal Shreehari and Khrisna take care of all the things. They know very well where to eat, sleep during the trekking to have the best experience.Very close and friendly people.Totally recomended if you want to do this trek of others in Nepal.

Me and my friend did the Anapurna circuit. Shree really helped us choose a great trip plan for the number of days we had and answered our every question with huge patience. I’ve been trekking twice before to Nepal when I was much younger and didn’t use a guide or porter back then. This time I did, and was lucky to have Birman as guide and Foure as porter. From beginning to end this was an excellent experience. Bir took good care of my friend and I, always finding a room at the lodges for us despite this being peak fall season. Bir made sure we ate well, had enough blankets, and were safe on the trail. Despite lots of competition for flights, we had no trouble arriving and leaving Lukla on the days intended. I had some trouble with the lack of oxygen on one day going over Cho La pass, and Bir made sure we stopped to rest–and breathe–as needed.I liked the company’s policy about responsible tourism and was happy not ordering bottled water. Bir used his steripen to purify every bottle of tap water and my friend and I never had any tummy trouble.Shree was very helpful before and after the trek, and proved an excellent manager.I would highly recommend Trekking Team Group to anyone going to Nepal.

It was amazing time spent in Nepal. The guide Tika and the other guys Jitu and Jángé were awesome. I hope that we will get together in the future. Realy good job guys and see you.

They were a great team: knowledgeable, gracious and full of good humor. We are very grateful to them for making it such an amazing experience. The guest houses had comfortable cots with pillows, but were not heated, so bring a warm sleeping bag! At Machapuchare Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp the temperatures fell to well below freezing overnight.

I was very impressed from start to finish. The entire trek was well organised and co-ordinated. The tour commenced in Kathmandu with a Nepalese cultural evening. This was enjoyable and a lot of fun.The trek was led by Goku with assistance from Tikka and the porters. Nothing was too much trouble. All staff members were good humoured and encouraging. I was one of the slower trekkers however I never felt pressured to hurry. Bistari, Bistari (slowly) was the key word! Both Goku and Tikka were good humoured, supportive and knowledgeable about flora and fauna in the region. Highly recommended. +++

These guys were organised; personable ; informative ; incredibly helpful and friendly. Their experience showed through when we were up in the ABC and our accommodation was secured and organised – other groups’ guides seemed to not have been as prepared and they were faced with no place to stay for the night.Highly recommended for a safe enjoyable unforgettable experience.

I enjoyed every minute of our 10-day trip with the Trekking Team Group. Goku and Tika and their team were great company and I’m really looking forward to doing another trek with them in two years. Booked a 8-day trip to Langtang; from the minute you walk into the office, the agency raises sustainability issues and is concerned with serving benefits to the local community. They do not support plastics therefore they provide filtered water to all members of the team. What we liked the most about our organized tour is the fact that our guide and porter were always smiling and caring; also whenever we wanted to change the plan or our accommodation, our guide offered and arranged different options, so it was actually not a fixed but a tailor-made tour depending on our needs and wishes. We would like to thank Azay, Bin and Saroj for their friendliness and help in order for us to enjoy an unforgettable trip to the Himalayas!

I was the organiser of our Epic Annapurna ABC hike. as the person responsible for choosing the ground team there is a lot of extra stress. Picking the TREKKING TEAM GROUP was the single best decision I made. The trip was so well organised, Shreehari was a pleasure to deal, with as we put the trip together over many months. Goku and Tika our guides were amazing, and throughout the trek I never once met any better guides. Safety was always top of mind and the little extras like re usable water bottles, and steriliser pen were appreciated. We are already planning our next trip and for sure it will be with this team.

Trekking Team Group was recommended to me by a friend who had made a tour with them two years back. As we were traveling with kids, we decided to take culture tour and we are glad that we chose this trip. All my boys liked it very much. We had excellent guide Tika and perfect driver Ash who were extraordinary. They were very friendly, had positive attitude, sense of humor and always taking care of my boys and making sure they love every moment in Nepal. I chose UNESCO HERITAGE SITE as my first holiday in  Nepal as I am not a keen trekker. Going into it, I assumed it would be fun and exciting but my expectations were thoroughly surpassed. Nepal itself is beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming. The culture is rich and quiet; leaving space to put your own personalized touch on your experience. Shree from TTG  suggested a great combination of destinations, from the Everest Experience flight  to the jungles of Chitwan. The accommodations were always above and beyond what I expected. While I was prepared for limited accommodations (running water, heating optional, electricity varied) most places made sure the stay was comfortable, if not luxurious. Our guides, Goku and driver Krishna, were knowledgeable, friendly, safe, and enjoyable. They really helped to shape my experience and help me get the most out of it. Nepal will forever hold a special place in my heart, and my amazing experience is credited much to the facilitation of Trekking Team Group. I highly recommend the tour I went on, and assume their others are equally amazing. I can’t wait to go back and revel in the beauty of Nepal.

“A Great Introduction to Nepal”
In March we made our first visit to Nepal. We were looked after really well by Shreehari and his staff.The trip was a great success, and gave us a good insight into the culture, customs, and way of life of the people, as well as some spectacular views of the mountains, and a close-up look at the wildlife. We were fortunate that Shreehari was able to accompany us on some of our excursions. He was able to give us extensive information about the land, buildings and people that we saw.We wholeheartedly recommend Trekking Team Group to anyone looking to have a touring / trekking holiday in Nepal.

This trip was amazing, TTG did a wonderful job putting this together and went out of their way to accommodate us with any changes we needed when possible. (Not to mention answering all the questions we had before booking the trip.) From the time they picked us up at the airport to the time they dropped us off 11 days later we never felt unsafe. The driver was absolutely wonderful, how he’s able to drive through that was unreal – you have to see it to believe it! They had everything planned for us and we even had time to venture out on our own. This is the first guided tour group we have booked with mainly because we like time to do things on our own, TTG was perfect for that. The only thing we wished we had known was how CHEAP you can purchase trekking gear for in Kathmandu. We could have packed light, gone with no gear, bought it there and brought it home with us to use here. Of course we still bought gear, but the extra baggage cost was brutal. You can’t go wrong with this group. How many vacations can you say you went white water rafting, hike to Nagerkot, woke up to a breathe taking view of the Annapurna range, explore the jungle on feet, not to mention all the cultural sites along the way – all in one trip! You can have all this and more with Trekking Team Group! Thank you and we are already dreaming out next adventure!

I had an amazing experience in Nepal, such an adventure!! I was very sad to be leaving. I found the service was excellent, it was great not to have to worry about getting from place to place, from the moment we arrived in Nepal we were very well looked after, you could say even spoiled!! Our guides and porters were excellent, and had so much knowledge on the culture and history of Nepal which they were more than egger to share with us. We had great fun also with our guides, singing, dancing and laughing all the way!! It was fantastic to learn and see so much of Nepal; I feel we were very lucky to have experienced so much of this beautiful country in such a short space of time. This trip has had a huge impact on my life, and i would very much like to return soon to this wonderful country and get the opportunity to spend some more time with the beautiful Nepalese people. Thank you for a wonderful service and i wish you all the best with your business, and i hope our paths will cross one day in the near future.

“I had a few days off after my work visit to Nepal and I wanted to spend some time travelling in the Kathmandu valley.” As a women travelling alone I decided to contract the Trekking Team Group . And I did not regret it. Thanks to Shreehari who asigned his experienced guide Arjun to me, I had a wonderful time visiting (either walking or travelling by public transport) beautiful places like Changu Narayan, Nagarkot and Bhaktapur.  Arjun is a very thoughtful guide who is eager to explain Nepalese daily life to you. I was struck by the gentleness of the Nepalese people, and their resillience and eagerness (young and old, women and men) to rebuild their beautiful and culturally very rich country after the earthquake. I am determined to go back one day with my family for ‘more serious hiking’ with Shree and his Trekking Team Group.

I brought a group of 28 adults to Nepal from Tibet for a four-night visit to this very interesting country that included two nights in Kathmandu and Chitwan National Park. The hotel chosen for the two nights in Kathmandu was the “Shanker Hotel” and the accommodation chosen at Chitwan was “Jungle Safari Lodge”. Both of these places were fantastic! Shreehari, the owner of the company, did a fantastic job as the tour operator, Trekking Team Group, and was very responsive to my many e-mails and phone calls in preparing for this trip. He helped me design a custom itinerary that made best use of the time in Nepal and chose great restaurants for my group to eat at. Not having been to Nepal before, I was a bit apprehensive at choosing a tour operator especially with so many tour operators in Nepal to choose from, but this company did not disappoint me as I felt Shree was fair, gave me a good value for the money, and was honest. I also checked out references of his company prior to choosing his and they all checked out fine. Shree also accompanied my group to Chitwan and I felt he cared about my group’s experience. Although we had a great tour experience and Shree was also our tour guide in Kathmandu, I suggested to Shree that for the Kathmadu tour that if he was going to be the tour guide, he just needs to talk more about the places we visited as my group was hungry for a lot of detailed information and history. The lunch location at Dhulikhel Resort between the TIbet border and Kathamdu was fabulous with its views of the valley and the famous Rumdoodle Restaurant in the old town area of Thamel in Kathmandu gave us a taste of home (i.e., steak, fries, etc.). Jungle Safari lodge, which Shree recommended to my group for our Chitwan experience, was an oasis in a very hot and humid area. Although it is notorious in Nepal for the electricity to be sporadic, for the most part it stayed on and we had A/C for the most part. We then flew back to Kathandu to make our connecting flight to Jaipur, India via Delhi, and Shree saw us off at the airport. Overall, the tour was fantastic and I would not hestitate using Trekking Team Group again and staying at the Shanker Hotel and Jungle Safari Lodge.
